The spill fromthe apron feeders will be picked up by screw conveyorsand delivered to the chutes, which are to be so ar-ranged that coal can be fed from either end of thebunkers to either of the two driers. The driers will consist of two steel cylinders, 55 , one 5 ft. and the other 6 ft. in diameter. Theywill be slightly inclined to the horizontal and arrangedfor rotation about the longitudinal axis.
