A test pilot taxis a T-45A Goshawk aircraft past a row of F-14A Tomcat aircraft. The Navy is evaluating the aircraft, which is an intermediate and advanced student trainer capable of landing aboard aircraft carriers. About 300 T-45As will be procured to replace the T-2C Buckeye and TA-4J Skyhawk trainer aircraft currently in service.
