His latest report is having booked a number of large orders for cuttings and he is kept busy all the time packing them. He is also receiving some choice calendulas and sweet peas from his New Castle greenhouses. Julius Bacr's window displays of late have been worth mention, as they have been fpiito clever and seasonable. The William Murj)hy Co. is receiving some good mignonette from L. F. Mur- ]iliy, of Price Hill, and also some white iiuddleia asiatica from Fred H. Lemon, of Riclimond, Ind. L. H. Kyrk reports the first wall- flowers and forget-me-nots of the sea- son, from R. S. Batson, of Kalamazoo, Mich. E. G. Gillett and wife are now spend- ing two months with their nephew, Clarence Oliiticr, at West Palm Beach, Fla. ]\rr. Gillett writes that he feels young again under the tropical sun and hates to think of the day he has to come north again. William Mayhall is managing the place during Mr. Gillett's absence.
