Overflowing dog waste bin in the lane near Bateman's, Rudyard Kipling's longtime home near Burwash, a village in the Weald of East Sussex. One one hand you have to praise local dog owners and visitors who are prepared to clean up after their dog but, as can be seen from the full state of the bin, it does rely on the powers that be to empty the bin regularly! This image was taken on a sunny June morning and the smell from the bin was considerable.
