The cruise liner Costa Mediterranea is operated by Costa Crociere & is a Spirit-class ship able to carry up to 2,600 passengers witha crew of 912. She was constructed at the Kvaerner Masa Yards in Helsinki. MV Ventura was built by Fincantieri in their Italian yard & she is a Grand-class liner of the P&O fleet able to carry over 3,000 130,000 cruise ship passengers visit Guernsey annually most ferried to the island in tenders. These are shown in the harbour mouth & the re-embarkation is on the harbour pier at the bottom of the image. The Little Roussel is the stretch of water between Guernsey and Herm.
