On July 4the patient received 1 without a filter ; from July 13 to 20 the hair was reported as comingout satisfactorily, and on August 3 a second dose was given with ^ mm. aluminium filter. Afterthe operation the patient received one or two doses of X-rays in order to make the scar moresupple. On these occasions a filter of 2 mm. aluminium was used.
