This installation was made by M. Hillairet, who de-signed it, and who deserves much credit for its complete-ness and the excellence of its arrangement. In the accompanying illustrations, fig. i is a small mapshowing the location of the transmission ; fig. 2 shows apart of the pipe through which the water is conveyed to. Fig- 3- the turbine, and fig. 3 is a view of the power-house at LaForce.
