A GTR-18A, commonly referred to as a Smokey Sam, is fired off by airmen from the 266th Range Squadron, Idaho National Guard, to simulate a missile launch for a C-130 as part of Southern Strike 2021, at Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, April 26, 2021. Southern Strike is an annual training exercise hosted by the Mississippi National Guard to increase combat readiness across all branches of the Military.
