Sulisequently she was employed as steno- raphcr by a Minneapolis firm and later by a firm at Cresco, la. In she was appointed .Assistant Casliier of Tlie National Bank of Cresco and in ]S!J9 was appointed Cashier of the same bank, which position she now (1902) occupies. She is an active member of the First Congre gational Clnirch of Cresco, and is a teacher in its Sunday School.
