Memorial museum of Ulugbek - a tribute to the great scientist and ruler of Central Asia Since young ages Ulugbek fond of astronomy. So, he built a unique structure for its time, the famous observatory. In 1437 Ulugbek created Gurgansky Zidj (catalog of the sky), where were described 1018 stars. In 1444, after thirty years of astronomical observations the great astronomer created his scientific work - "Zij jadidi Guragani" or “New Guraganov astronomical tables”.
