West Bengal government organized maiden carnival parade called "Pujor Pore Thakur Dekha" of 39 awards winning community puja to showcase variety of artistic creation before immersion in river Ganga. These 39 pujas are winner of West Bengal "Biswa Bangla Sharad Samman" award. The event, presided over by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, provide two to three minutes each to every Puja committee to showcase their endeavors in a tableau-like formation.
