A Celtic stone cross memorial to a young botanist who died here near to Lamorna Cove on a foggy winter's day, West Country, Cornwall, England, UK


On the cliff-path westward from Lamorna, St. Buryan, stands a solitary granite cross inscribed MAR 13 1873. David Watson was a delicate young man, 23 years of age and a keen botanist who fell to his death here. The cross was erected in his memory.
