Storebælt East Bridge between islands of Sjælland (Zealand) and Fyn (Funen), Denmark


The kilometre long Great Belt East Bridge between Zealand and Funen was opened in June 1998. With a central span of 1624 metres it is the longest suspension bridge in the world. The two pylons are 254 metres high.
