The national dance of the Baloch or Baluch people, Balochistan or Baluchistan, Iran. Thirty or more men join hands, form a circle and move slowly towards each other in undulating lines, retreating to re-form the circle without ever unclasping hands. The dance becomes more frenzied as it continues with some dancers dropping out due to exhaustion whilst others take their places.
