Reginald Claypoole Vanderbilt ( 1880 – 1925) - from a 1919 book of cartoon caricatures of famous people of the time by artist Giovanni Viafora (USA). Vanderbilt was rich but a heavy drinker and gambler , losing most of his fortune to the habit. He was also an avid equestrian, being the founder and president of many equestrian organisations. He died from cirrhosis due to alcoholism
