Gladiolus grows all the year and that’s because its Profitable cultivation of gladiolus flower is gaining popularity among farmers in the district famous for flower growing. The flower is harvested within 70 days and grows all the year round. A new farmer earns around Tk 20 lakh a year by farming the flower on his 25 bighas of land. Cultivation of gladiolus needs a good amount of investment but it is much more profitable than traditional agricultural items. It sells for prices higher than that of other flowers.
