A band of 24 chainsaw wielding artists will take on an unassuming eight foot long log each, with the intention of turning it into something beautiful in just four hours. Carve Carrbridge is a unique four-hour speed carving competition, where competitors are only allowed to use chainsaws and no other form of cutting tool. This is followed by a 30 minute quick carve competition, which produces spectacular results in such a short space of time. In addition to the chainsaw carving there will be wood-turning, a beat the goalie contest, a woodland orchestra, a fun fair, a crockery smash, a forestry school, face painting, and axe throwing.
