A cased pair of percussion pistols, Van Wart Sons & Co., London, circa 1840/50. Browned octagonal barrels with smooth bores in 13 mm calibre with the inscription "London" engraved on the breeches. Back action percussion locks with slide safeties. The lock plates display fine vine engraving and are inscribed, "Van Wart Son & Co." Double set triggers.
