The black frontal and lateral bands are replaced by whitish, leaving only a dusky patch on the ears. Hab. Mexico (both coast* to the southwaid) ; (luatemala. This species is jriveii ]»y Mr. Oiraiid as occuiTiii«2: in Texas, Init it is pos- sible that he may have l)een misled as to the true locality.
