Tower House was the home of William Wyllie, famous marine artist, who lived there from 1907 until his death in 1931. It was he who had the tower built. Spinnaker Tower beyond is a landmark observation tower opened in October 2005. It is the centrepiece of the redevelopment of Portsmouth Harbour at Gunwharf Quays.
