Mr. Fuchs was, also,commanded by King Edward to make his portraitfor the new ])ostage stamp. A drawing in profilewas used for tlii> purpose, and a design from it, inrelief, for the embossed stamp which is printedu])()n envelo])es, and also for the stamp used inregistering bills. Mr. Fuchs next commission, alsofrom King Edward, was a design for the Ct)ronationMedal, which was conferred upon all tliose whowere faxored with a special invitation to West- IH.
