A German bear spear, 17th/18th century. Broad blade with a heavy central ridge on both sides. Traces of decoration at the base of the blade. Heavy, ridged socket with a screw-in, rotating iron crossbar. Original shaft, bevelled on the upper quarter with leather wrapping, damaged in places.
