Median segment half as broad again at the base as long, rounded at the apex, margined laterally but not apically, very finely rugulose, with a carina from the base reaching nearly to the middle of the segment ; on each side of the carina at the base are a number of short longi- tudinal strise which are separated from the rugulose portion.
