LOGAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Army Spc. Ethan Wilson is a 19-year-old native of Maurertown, Va., who is serving in eastern Afghanistan with 3rd Platoon, B Company, 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team. Wilson enlisted as a Cavalry Scout in 2010 and is on his first deployment with the 173rd to Afghanistan. Wilson’s brother, Thomas, was with the 173rd ABCT during Operation Enduring Freedom VIII, and was killed in 2007 in Paktika Province. ( Army photo by Sgt.
