The Péniche Tamata was built in 1924. The boat is 24 meters long and has been converted into a grocery store. It is located in the Canal du Midi in Le Somail. The Canal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was completed in 1681. It was designed by Pierre Paul Riquet.
