Lt. R. W. Sears took this photograph on September 24, 1918. It shows Battery "C" of the 315th Field Artillery, part of the 80th Division, moving from the Ouv du Champitre woods near Mixeville, Dept. of Meuse, through camouflaged roads in Camp Gallieni to the Souilly Verdun Road. The road is camouflaged with artificial trees for two miles. This photo was passed by the censor, but the exact date of issuance is not known.
