Inauguration ceremony of biggest cattle fair of Asia in Bihar: Every year Sonepur organises the biggest animal fair not only in India but also in whole Asia. The fair is held on the bank of the river Ganges where ir confluences with her tributary, Gandak. This year this fair was inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Sushil Kumar Modi on 2nd November, 2017 and the fair will continue till 3rd December, 2017.
