Glenfinnan Viaduct, built in 1898, sits at the head of Loch Shiel and carries the West HIghland Line and heritage Jacobite steam train from Mallaig.

With 21 arches this mass concrete viaduct crosses the River Finnan at a height of 30 metres above the ground across a 380 metre span. The viaduct also featured in four of the Harry Potter films.
