Brnt of numerous fibres, stril;ing deep. Slcin erect, a foot high, anJ, like the foot- slal/.-s, triangular, brittle, juicy, reddish and shining. Leaves on long stalks, tlirice three-leatleted, of a bright, rather milky-green; leaflets wedge-shaped, with rounded lobes. Flowers in a solitary, terminal, upright cluster, scentless, lemon-coloured, with deep-yellow lips. Bnichs very small, egg or awlshaped, saw-toothed, acute, much shorter than the Jlnwcr-stalks. Cnhjx-Icaves egg, or spear-head shaped, with blunt points, membranous, soon deciduous.
