Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1828–1882) painted this portrait of Jane Morris in 1890 and titled it Day Dream. It is now housed in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England. Rossetti was an English poet, painter, translator, and illustrator. Jane Morris was an English artists' model. She was a model and muse to Rossetti and to William Morris, whom she married.
