The River Camel estuary in Cornwall is a haven for water borne activities in summer. At other times it is empty and peaceful.

The Camel estuary in Cornwall is a broad, sandy, tidal estuary with a narrow entrance providing shelter for many boats and acting as a haven for sailing. Padstow on the southern shore and Rock on the northern have become established communities with strong links to the water. Busy in the summer months it can be tranquil at other times of the year.
