No arguments, oreven statements of fact, concerning thespecial conditions attending such unus-ually speeded trains will be necessary tomake it clear to those operating themthat the most efficient means of promptlyreducing speed is of the greatest import-ance, if it can be secured by employingsimple and reliable appliances.
