A territorial male Grant's Gazelle horns the ground displaying to keep other males away from his display area or lek and attract receptive females.
There is a relic population of Grant's Gazelle that live in the restricted habitat of the confluence grasslands in Ruaha, the most southerly population of what is often known as the Rift Valley Gazelle.
