ATLANTIC OCEAN. (April 11, 2017) Seaman Alyssa Bedell, from Ocala, Fla., stands port life buoy watch on the fantail of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (Ike) (CVN 69). Ike and its carrier strike group are underway participating in a sustainment exercise designed to maintain deployment readiness as part of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP).
