The large brown leaves of a Rodgersia podophylla 'Rotlaub' plant
'Rotlaub' (red leaf) has dark, chocolate-brown to coppery-red leaves (similar in shape to that of chestnuts) making this one of the best foliage plants for moist shade. Three foot tall stems terminate in a creamy-white flowery plume.
