MILES Now and then there is a beekeeper whoreports success in feeding back; but per-haps the majority do not find that the planworks well at first. I myself was among thelatter class; but having studied the theoryof it thoroughly I was able to see some ofthe causes of failure, and after several trialswas able to eliminate most of them, so thatnow I consider the finishing of some of thesection honey by feeding back a part of theregiilar program each summer. Kind of weather to be expected for thepurj^ose. 3. Arrangement of sections in supers;supers on hives; kind and arrangement offeeders. 4. Preparation of feed and method offeeding. The right kind of bees is absolutely neces-sary as a foundation to success. As nearlyas I can tell, a colo
