Petschek Palace (Petschkův palác) in Nové Město (New Town) in Prague, Czech Republic. The building designed by Czech neo-classicist architect Max Spielmann was built between 1923 and 1929 upon a request from the merchant banker Julius Petschek. The building became the headquarters of Gestapo for the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia during the Nazi occupation between 1939 and 1945. Today it is the residence of the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade (Ministerstvo průmyslu a obchodu).
