A silver mounted shashka, Caucasus, circa 1900. Curved, single edged blade with several fullers on both sides (somewhat stained) and a double edged point. Silver grip decorated with engraving, niello, and beaded strips with the crowned cipher of Tsar Nicholas II on the pommel. Leather covered wooden scabbard with four silver mountings worked en suite.
