How are the copies of our leadingsystems prepared—with pen or pencil? Iseach part prepared singly, or is the wholeol any copy handed to the engraver just aswe see it in the copy-books? the misunderstandings arising from his illeg-ibility. Michael Anqelo.— In his caae therewas sometimes a peculiiirity which it is notdesirable that anybody should imitate. Solong as he kept within the bounds of realdrawing, his work was full of grandeur; buthe sometimes, in the exuberance of an over-heated imagination, passed beyond drawingaltogether, and exercised himself in theflourishes of calligraphy. A bold nnd rapidpen-sketch of his, representiug three reclin-ing figures, is executed with thedasliing curves and flourishes of the callig-raphist. It looks as if it had been done bysome clever writing-master, as a llourishiugtranslation of a study by a learned ;. The above cut w photo-engraved from an original design executed at the office of the Journal, and is given as a specimen of pen-drawing and lettering. The above design has been printed, in fine style, on Bristol-board, writing and bond piper ; size, llx 14. Ihe Bristol-hoard is for framing, and the paper for rolling or folding. It is also printed upon a fine quality of Bristol-hoard, for framing, 17x22. This design is believed to be the most artistic and tasty fjrm yet published for a Marriage Certifiente. Single copies of size 11x14 mailed for 50 cents; 18x23, $1. Free as a premtitm with the Journal. Either size given. well; yet, if the patient cannot do his, deathis inevitable. Again I repeat, Position gives power,if it be properly taken. Study carefully the minutite, and as youimprove in a general way, you will findPosition keeping pace with all the rest of the E ntials to good writing. THE SLEEP OF THE JUST. - ChambtrtM Journal. 6.
