RIOHACHA, Colombia (March 29, 2017) - Host nation volunteers supporting Continuing Promise 2017 (CP-17) assist with surgical procedures at a Riohacha veterinary clinic in support of CP-17’s visit to Mayapo, Colombia. CP-17 is a Southern Command-sponsored and Naval Forces Southern 4th Fleet-conducted deployment to conduct civil-military operations including humanitarian assistance, training engagements, and medical, dental, and veterinary support in an effort to show support and commitment to Central and South America.
