Pennsylvania. Julian, (Julin.) Fruit medium, roundish, conical; calyx small ina narrow basin, stem short in a moderate cavity; striped withfine red on yellowish white; flesh white, tender, and fineflavored. Tree a stronggrower and great bearer. Fruit bears carriage well. A goodmarket sort. Lancaster County, Pa. August to October. Raspberry. {Red Cheek.) Small, oblong truncated; yellow, cov-ered rosy red ; cavity narrow ; basin wide, almost flat; flesh whitestained with red; sub-acid, juicy, sprightly, best. ResemblesRed June. Tree hardy and healthy.
