Seattle, Washington: Looking north to the South Park neighborhood from the new South Park Bridge. The double-leaf bascule bridge connects South Park's main business district to Seattle, near Boeing Field. The bridge opened to traffic on June 30, 2014, replacing the old bridge that was closed permanently in 2010 due to its deterioration.
