Ripens about the sametime as Catawba, very productive so far, and entirelyhardy and healthy. An exquisite table grape, combiningfine quahty with attractive appearance, though its skin. Vine a stronghealthy grower, large, bright green leaves, and grayishwood. Mr. R. has a great number of other seedlings. One, aDelaware seedling, black, which ripens four or five daysbefore the Hartford, and may become valuable as an earlymarket grape, as it is of good quality.
