Alligator Creek is the closest clean green and refreshing fresh water swimming location near Townsville. We went to get some quality photos on a day with passing cloud to get a little diffuse light. There is a walk from alligator Creek to cockatoo creek which gets you away from the crowds which normally only walk the 200 m to Alligator creek. Photos were taken on a nikon d800 with a 50 mm prime lense
