When orders are received they are entered in our main ofifice, and sent out at once to the various departments for execu- tion, and as p rule all orders are shipped within twenty-four hours after receipt, except during the busy season of Spring and Fall, when, necessarily, a little more time is required. Shipping instructions are always followed when given. We send thousands of packages every year by mail to all parts of the world with almost perfect satisfaction, but very few not reaching their destination. We make a specialty of express shipments, having direct and connecting service to all points in the United States, Canada, Cuba, the United States possessions in the far East and Europe. We also have direct and frequent steamer service to New York, Boston, Fall River, Providence, Norfolk, Richmond, Savannah, Baltimore, New Orleans, Galveston, Troy and Albany, connecting with all fast freight lines south, east and west, and daily all rail fast freight lines over the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia & Reading and Baltimore & Ohio Railroads afford unsurpassed facilities for shipment to all points. Shipments to all the principal ports of Europe can be made by direct steamers from Philadelphia, or Express Steamship service from New York, as desired. Orders calling for various stocks, such as Plants, Bulbs, and Seeds, are filled in the different departments, goods assembled, and forwarded in one shipment, thus saving the purchaser the extra express or freight charges on separate consignments. We guarantee the safe arrival of all goods shipped by mail or express. If packages are injured or lost in transit by these modes of ship- ment, we will replace as soon as informed of the fact.
