ISLAND OF EIGG, SCOTLAND - 1st NOVEMBER 2007: Eric Weldon, 49, and Rachel Vameer, 50 have been on Eigg for 8 years. She is the doctor for the small islands and Eric runs a semi-rigid speedboat to get her to medical emergencies on the nearby islands of Canna, Rum and Muck. "Electrification will make life a lot easier - at the moment we are running two generators for the house and the surgery.
