The crops, which, if sown now, can besoonest harvested are turnips, rye, oats, and wheat. In view of the great scarcityof com and forage and the high prices thesearticles will command, we would advise abountiful sowing of some or aii of thesecrops. With an abundance of turnips andcoarse forage stock can be kept in good con-dition through the winter; rye will giveearly pasturage and can be cut in April forforage. Oats will give feed for spring workwhile wheat can be readily converted intocash at good figures, as Southern wheat isthe earliest in the market and commandstop prices. 10th Month.
