Cpl. Nicholas Smith, a musician with the 10th Mountain Division Band, plays his trumpet during a memorial service on March 12, 2021, on Fort Drum, Smith won the 2020 Finley R. Hamilton Outstanding Military Musician Award on February 18th, 2021 for his exceptional leadership qualities, outstanding musical talent in both solo and ensemble performance, and a great potential for future outstanding service.
