Since LAP and GOT values at every specific locality are not precisely correlated with each other (see Fig. 5), the differences may be due to selection being some- what different in the two cases, or to the several types of possible background "noise". Perhaps the species composition of the phytoplankton food of Schisoporella errata, which in general varies with water temperature, and yet may differ from.
