Sölvesborg - Olofström - Älmhult's railway was opened in 1901 for public traffic. In the same year, station was built. Then the one- and one-half-story station house was built in wood. The railway was nationalized in 1942. At the end of the 1950s, the station house was replaced with a new building east of the track. The station and the entire railway farm are adapted to industrial survey including Swedish steel pressing, sheet metal press, enameling plants, wood wool factory, saw, mill and power plant.
